Just wanna say, your commitment to not wasting your viewers' time really shines through your work. I've always felt that your content is a cut above most out there online, even outside of the mtg space.
Okay, sequel idea: what was the process of creating this write-up?
Seriously though, thank you for sharing. I’ve got a lifelong fascination with seeing behind the curtains of creators whose content I respect and enjoy. Not only did I get that precious glimpse, but as an occasional video editor, frequent solitary hobby deep diver, and guitar player for just over half of my life, both large sections and small moments of this piece brought back memories of more verdant creative periods and whispered a mist of inspiration over the fallow fields of now.
Thanks for sharing the process, Sam. Mission accomplished! A Rhystic studies spin on the "never clicked so fast" cliche is "I am always happy to have spent my time watching a Rhystic studies video" and genuinely disappointed when they end. To your earlier point, I feel like time flies when I'm watching your work. Keep it up (please)!
i want to make video essays, you and jacob geller are my biggest inspirations to do so. idk what id talk about but i want to do it right when i do. this helped a lot, thank you
